About Course Credit

If you choose to take this course for credit, you will be required to attend the instructor-led virtual classes for the course and record your attendance through our Learning Management System (LMS). To receive credit for the course, you must complete all course evaluations and obtain a minimum final grade of 60%. If you enroll in a course for credit, our Registrar's office will schedule a meeting with you to review the For Credit requirements in advance of the course start date. If you choose the Not for Credit option when you enroll, you will still be registered in the same course and have access to all of the same lectures and materials as the For Credit students, but you will not be able to apply the course as a credit towards one of Metalworks Institute's Online Diploma Programs.

Please Note: Credits can only be applied to online diploma programs within 24 months of course completion.

In this learning module, students will be provided with the knowledge and skills to become advanced users of Microsoft Excel. Students will be introduced to all of the fundamental Micrsoft Excel tools and views and learn to use formulas, charts, and macros, and create templates, sheets, and reports for a range of common business applications.
