The course offers a detailed study of the principles, technologies and techniques used in stage lighting for live events.

Students will be introduced to the history of theatre, stage technology, stage terminology, types of lighting fixtures, dimmer systems, cables, connectors, truss systems and an introduction to the lighting design process.
  • This is a certificate course which means that students who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from Metalworks Institute. However, this course cannot be applied as a credit towards Metalworks Institute's Online Diploma Programs.
